The new Laboratory on International Law and Regulation, based at the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies, launches its first lecture, in conjunc¬tion with IICAS. In this lunchtime lecture, Professor Peter Rosendorff will discuss his research on authoritarian regimes and the violation of human rights treaties.

B. Peter Rosendorff is an associate professor with The Wilf Family Department of Politics at New York University. Currently on sabbatical, Rosendorff is spending the 2009-2010 academic year in residence at the University of Southern California’s Department of Economics

The IICAS PIA and IR/PS ILAR 2009-2010 Joint Speaker Series at UC San Diego is sponsored by the Project on International Affairs (PIA) at the Institute for International, Comparative, and Area Studies (IICAS), and the International Law and Regulation Laboratory (ILAR) at the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS).
